I’m excited for all that have made it this far. I pray earnestly that everyone has an open heart to receive what it is that the Holy Spirit has shown me. This blog wasn’t even my idea and if you have made it this far in your readings, you should see the enlightenment just the same as I did when the Spirit shed light on these things to me. My heart was quickened and I am now responsible to spread this information, no matter how people view and/or how they react.

I promised that the second half of these blogs would actually teach from the bible, but use more direct scripture references to ensure my readers that I’m not just going off on an emotional tangent. I will make sure to proceed in that same nature. This section will be more of an attempt to make clarity so that I can proceed to part 8. In order to do that, I will need to elaborate on the topic of tongues. After doing so, I will be able to smoothly move to my next point to be made, being that  now that we have just covered in part 6 that man is unable to come to God under his own understanding.

I would like to point out that tongues is not just the pink things in your mouth that enables you to shape words, but in the context of spiritual gifts, is just another word for language. Paul clearly takes the time to inform that this is just one of the spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12:10 and that even though he desires that all could speak in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:5) that not everyone does speak in tongues (1 Corinthians 12:29-30.) Paul ends chapter 12 by letting us know that even before all the gifts, tongues included, that we should desire a better way. That way would be charity, or known to most as the word “love.” After taking the time in chapter 13 to explain that without charity its pointless to have spiritual gifts, chapter 14 becomes his soapbox to where he states that he would prefer that we prophesy than speak in tongues. Very much emphasis is put on this matter and just like Paul, I too have a heart to stress the seriousness because of the victims of the situation of tongues that were normally practiced by the church of Corinth and currently being practiced by our church today. He presses the fact that tongues need to come with interpretation and makes it known that without interpretation or understanding of the tongues, it is a complete waist. The reason that he prefers that the church would have the gift of prophecy over tongues is because prophecy edifies. Prophecy in this particular context is the same word for preaching. How is this so? Well the Bible that we read today is completed. Back then it wasn’t, and the prophecy that was given back then foretold what wasn’t completed. Now that the Word of God is complete, the complete revelation of what God wanted to communicate to mankind is finished. Today we still prophesy. When we go to church, the message that the pastor gives would be considered prophecy, though today we call it preaching. There is no more to be added to the text because the prophecy is completed (Revelations 22:18-19.) So when the preacher gives a word from the Word, he is enlightening on the completed prophecy, which is the Bible.

Here is the kicker here in this part of the Word. Paul states that tongues is designed strictly for unbelievers (1 Corinthians 14:22a). Let me make sure that I give history now to put more weight on this biblical truth. Keep in mind that you have just learned that tongue means language. Tongues is the spiritual gift that allowed a believer to speak a language that was unknown to his or herself. Paul says that in the church an interpreter is necessary but this isn’t mentioned for outside of the church. Here is why. God is completely about glory and will never do anything that will make the credit go to anyone else but Himself. He will not put us in a position that will prevent Him from receiving His glory and if anything or anyone gets in the way of that, He will immediately remove it, him, or her out of the way. Back then, it was made extremely apparent to an unbeliever that if a believer spoke in tongues, a language that the believer didn’t know, but the unbeliever did, it would cause the unbeliever to question how is it that this person not being from their geographical area and clearly not coming from a place where the education would have provided an experience to learn their native language, knew their tongue or language. This clearly makes the unbeliever understand that it could only be God that has allowed this believer to speak his or her language to them.

Contrary to what many people in the church will agree with, the bible clearly states that prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers. (1 Corinthians 14:22b.) Remember that prophecy means preaching. To conclude the point I’m trying to make so that I can move to my next section, I will bring to your attention that there is a language barrier between the believer and the unbeliever. Once again from the perspective of one called to evangelize as opposed to rapping strictly to believers, one must understand that the lyrics of a christian rapper are many times in the same category as tongues without interpretation and must truly come from the Holy Spirit in terms of speaking in the language of the unbeliever. They don’t understand the language of most christian rappers and taking that message to them is pointless. If you are called to rap to unbelievers, the Spirit must allow you to speak in tongues, the language of the unbeliever. In this lane, your lyrics can’t be prophecy.

February 15th  marks the release of the the last of KBE’s 4 Corners releasing his project before the big concert. NR Hunt tells us that this mixtape is a necessity for all who follow KBE to any extent. This mixtape will consist of many industry beats and a few new original songs. NR will be presenting his new single “Crayola” produced by Free Will from Kingdom Builders Productions. Supa K makes a production appearance on this mixtape with NR’s song “I Could Be” feat Sincere. Free Will also lands another collaboration that NR does with Sincere on a song called “Kill Me”

Industry beat wise, it contains NR’s rendition of “A Milli”, his rendition of “Tupacs Back” called “Shoe Watch Hat”, and “She Will” called “Trip” featuring Marvolous J to name a few. Other beats he used include Hovi Baby, On One, Yonkers, Takeover, and many more. NR states that this mixtape will address his feelings toward the church in hopes to clear up many rumors and bring clarity on why his lyrics are structured the way that they are. He said “After this, I will no longer attempt to explain myself. If people listen to my music with a hardened heart and without attentive ears, then they just prove to be like the pharisees and sadducees in Jesus’ time on earth.” To ensure that everyone gets the message, the project will be available for download and hard copies for a donation of at least a $1.

Thought provoking  and picturesque lyrics is what to be expected from NR, and he made sure to deliver as always. Kingdom Builders Expansion is excited to announce that Mykey Monroe has dropped her freshman EP entitled , “Parably Speaking”. This EP expresses her emotions and journeys through life as being a woman of God. Newly rededicating her life to Christ, she tells  the world about her struggles of chasing after true love, being judged and misunderstood, and proving her place in KBE as the first lady.

Featuring such artists as Margarita Rodarte, Sincere, and the very gifted Soulyjay to name a few, she dares to be different in her music. With singles such as “Bomb Threat” produced by GFO, she is sure to make heads bop in her favor. Filled with a balance of mellow and hard hitting tracks, she intentionally made her lyricism to be her strong point. “I feel as a female that we are often overlooked in the rap world. Its normally looked at as a man’s sport. I want everyone to see me, not trying to prove the point that females can rap too, but more so displaying the excellence in my gift from the Father ” says Mykey.

Parably Speaking is full of lyrical scenarios and heart felt lyrics. Juggerknatz and Supa K make appearances as far as production is concerned. GFO, originally from Portsmouth, VA and currently operating from Atlanta, GA, took it upon himself to partner with Mykey and produce the majority of this project. KBE is excited about this project, as they always are with all of their artists and projects, but has a very good feeling on the creativity and different feel this displays to the world.
